Photo_RogerLeslieRoger is the General Manager of the Mazatzal Hotel and Casino for the Tonto Apache Tribe.

Prior to accepting his current position, Roger was the General Manager of Hon-Dah Resort and Casino. While at the Hon-Dah Casino, Roger was one of the youngest casino general managers in Indian Country. During his tenure, the casino ranked in the top 10 of Ranking Arizona,   ultimately achieving the #1 ranking in 2003.

Roger has also held positions as the Gaming Commissioner for the Sandia Pueblo Tribal Gaming Commission, the Executive Director of the Tribal Gaming Regulatory Commission for San Felipe Pueblo, the Economic Development and Strategic Coordinator for the White Mountain Apache Tribe, and was the owner of PowerSURGE Seminars.

A well-versed public speaker, Roger has presented before the National Indian Gaming Association, the National Indian Gaming Commission, the Great Plains Indian Gaming Association, the American Indian Graduate Center and other association conferences and Tribal Organizations.

Roger has also volunteered his time and expertise to a number of boards and associations, having served as Chairman of the New Mexico Association of Indian Gaming Commissioners, and participated in the White Mountain Regional Marketing Coalition, the White Mountain Business and Tourism Alliance, the White Mountain Regional Chambers of Commerce Coalition, and the White Mountain Apache Tribal Economic Development Committee.

Roger holds a BA in Business Management and Marketing from Ft. Lewis College.
